About Shannon Lauterstein
As a Northern Virginia Native, I enjoy being the “go to” resource for my clients, friends and colleagues for all things Real Estate – and beyond! My professional Real Estate Career began in 2000 with Oakwood Worldwide assisting with temporary and long-term stays in Northern Virginia. After 5 great years with Oakwood, I decided to look at Real Estate from a different angle -Mortgages. I was a loan processor for 3 years before moving into the career that I had always wanted – Real Estate Sales! In 2008 I took my knowledge of the area, with my professional experience and launched a successful sales career.
My passion for learning and teaching took me through what seemed like logical next steps, serving as a Mentor, Coach, and Broker. From 2018 through the first half of 2023, I supported the KW United offices in Virginia as their Supervising Broker for VA, MD & DC, closing 2000+ transactions a year. I currently serve as the Chair for the NVAR Standard Forms Committee and enjoy being part of the larger Realtor community. I have just recently rejoined the KW Dulles office a Broker & Director of Career Development, focusing on training & coaching agents at all levels to reach their goals.
Outside of work, you will find me at an ice rink somewhere along the East Coast cheering for one of my 3 sons playing travel hockey for the Ashburn Xtreme, or watching my husband coach. I am a fan of coffee, wine and The Royal Family. On the off chance I take a vacation, it’s to the OBX, Canada or the UK.
